I wanted to take this opportunity, to say how delighted we are with Boundstone’s work to date. Scot Twaites has been doing a fantastic job on site (in spite of the weather) and has made a huge amount of progress.

Hannah and I are very grateful indeed for the care he has taken with every detail, and for his efforts to keep us informed throughout and to maintain site safety in the context of Covid.

David Rowe also could not have been more helpful and has made it very straightforward for us to stay in touch and feed into the process. We really do appreciate their efforts so thank you very much indeed!

Very pleased to have chosen Boundstone Developments to take our project from our initial ideas through to the final finished product. All the way through we were kept informed of the next procedure and given opportunity to make last minute alterations to final finishes without any sign of frustration.

Having been recommended to Boundstone by our architect, from the very first meeting it became very clear that we were dealing with people who were very
sensitive to our requirements and, particularly, our apprehension as we had never embarked on such a large-scale project of this nature.

Perhaps the wisest decision we made was to engage Boundstone to fully manage the project from start to finish – this was invaluable as they brought fantastic insight and experience into the work schedule. At every step they engaged with us on decisions that required any change of thought or direction and provided advice on the best course of action. When we engaged with outside companies (fireplaces, cornices, roof tiles, windows, bathroom fittings, kitchen etc.) they were always there to lend a hand, accommodate our wishes and offer advice. We shall never forget the site manager mocking up a wooden frame roof on the ground for us, to allow us to see our tile selections in a semi-realistic manner!

Whilst there were changes to the schedule and scope of works as we progressed, the financial discussions were always clear and open and the final price was very fair – at no time did we feel under pressure in this area.

An important aspect to us was the sensitivity shown to our neighbours, in this aspect Boundstone were outstanding and neighbours have commented to us how much effort went into ensuring harmony was kept on all sides. Boundstone used many third-party contractors to complete the works and the finished product is testimony to their choice.

We have now completed the snagging list after six months occupancy and, again, nothing was too much trouble and at no time was anything considered as “normal wear and tear”. We are very happy in our refurbished house – both visitors and neighbours have commented upon the quality of the workmanship and the transformation undertaken.

We would, without reservation, recommend Boundstone to others and if we had to sum up our experience succinctly it would be along the lines of “Great job – Nice people to do business with!”

Following recommendation from a family friend, our first engagement with Boundstone Development was one of understanding and care.  It was clearly spelt out for us what was involved in completing our project and exactly the impact that it would have on our life whilst the work was under way.  We chose to move out whilst the project was undertaken which definitely proved to be the right choice!

The works were completed to the time frame agreed and we were kept informed of progress all throughout the project.

A lot of decisions had to be made in regards to the final finish we wanted and Boundstone were very helpful in providing us with information and introducing us to specialist companies to supply stairs, doors and sanitary equipment etc.

It was such a pleasure to be able to move back in again and enjoy our new home.
